We are dedicated to advancing climate solutions and are committed to the continuous learning and unlearning needed in this sector.
The Harbour is a project of the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship that offers support to youths who are taking action against the climate crisis. At The Harbour, we offer grants of varying amounts to meet the needs of projects that fall under three themes (what we call, thematic topics):
Youth and future generations are at greater risk if greater action is not taken to tackle the climate crisis. We need innovative, climate-justice, and entrepreneurial actions now. Luckily, youth are leading the way and we’re going to do everything we can to support them.
At The Youth Harbour, we focus on providing these specific types of support for youth:

The Youth Harbour operates all throughout Turtle Island and is headquartered in the traditional
territories of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa,
the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
We encourage you to learn and discover more about the lands where you work, live, laugh, love, and play on using the
Native-Land tool If you would like to learn more about the history of Indigenous peoples, we recommend this online course by the University of Alberta as a good starting point to your journey.
