Youth often have inadequate funds to secure a centralized location for co-creating, convening, and storing their advocacy materials. At the same time, youth that do have a centralized location experience redundancy when there is a lack of sharing this resource among youth climate and social justice activists.
Climate ShareSpace addresses this gap in the movement by providing a space for peer-to-peer mentorship, a centralized place for cross-collaborative planning, and a storage area to store and share resources.
OVERVIEW
Climate ShareSpace is a cohort of physical offices and co-working locations across what’s currently referred to as Canada for youth-led organizations to utilize for collaboration and storage.
Folks with access to Climate ShareSpace will be able to:
- convene and collaborate in a co-working space to strategize and plan their movements
- have a central space to store material in central urban advocacy locations
- utilize materials purchased by The Youth Harbour to prevent redundant costs
