The Youth Harbour is happy to announce that it has completed its first funding cycle! With over $750,000 of asks for funding, it is clear that there is a high demand for youth-led climate action to be recognized, funded and supported.
We had to make extremely hard decisions within our means of funding.
Based on a multitude of criteria and reviews, the following applicants were selected as the most favourable and thus were selected for the first-ever granting cycle of The Youth Harbour.
A list of the successful applicants in alphabetical order can be found below:
-

The Youth Harbour looks forward to collaborating with these teams in the realization of their missions. We also hope to continue sharing resources with all the youth organizations that applied, in order to contribute to building a more just, prosperous and sustainable future for generations to come.
In recognition of the work and time commitment put in by all applicants, organizations that did not receive funding for this round were offered a $50 compensation for their efforts, as young people deserve to be paid for their work.
The Youth Harbour is a project of the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship (Fondation pour la gestion de l'environnement) that offers support to youths who are taking action against the climate crisis. The Youth Harbour offers grants of varying amounts to meet the needs of projects that fall under three themes: climate justice, amplifying youth voices, and climate innovation.
